Peggy Nowell, RN Scholarship

The Peggy Nowell, RN Scholarship is available to a qualifying Nursing/Allied Health abstract or case study presenting authors who have been accepted for oral presentation at the Annual Conference.

Scholarship Application Details

Indicate your scholarship interest when submitting your abstract.

This scholarship is awarded to an initial abstract submission which is due by December 10, 2025 (2pm ET).

Criteria:

Available Funds: 1 scholarship up to $1,000 (USD) for select recipients.
Eligibility: Available to ASLMS Nursing/Allied Health members who are certified or who hold a degree in the nursing/allied health field or working toward a degree in the field.
Required Items: While applicants may submit multiple abstracts, each with a separate scholarship application, the selected recipient is limited to one scholarship. A complete application will include:
- Applicant must have current ASLMS membership, or new applicant status.
- Abstract submitter must check the box noting that the Abstract Presenting Author is applying for the Peggy Nowell, RN Scholarship when the abstract is submitted.
Deadline: Abstract(s), scholarship application, and verification letter must be submitted by the abstract deadline.
Recipient Selection: Abstracts will be reviewed based on quality criteria and ranked by the Nursing/Allied Health Division Representative.
- Submitted abstracts must be accepted for oral presentation.
- The selected scholarship recipient is required to share their abstract orally in person at the conference.
Notification: Applicants will be notified via email of their abstract and scholarship status in February, preceding the conference.

No scholarship will be awarded to any person if the award would be contrary to any United States law including, but not limited to, trade embargoes administered by the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control.
