Key Submission Dates*

*Dates are subject to change.
*Abstract submissions will not be accepted past the due dates - All abstract information must be submitted in full prior to the cutoff time, and not be in process when the system closes, in order for the information to be saved in the system.

Late-Breaking Abstract Criteria

  1. Data Timeliness
    • The late-breaking abstract must contain new, high-impact, and time-sensitive data that was not available prior to the initial abstract submission deadline. This typically includes recent clinical trial results, significant new discoveries, or urgent public health data.
  2. Scientific Relevance
    • The data must represent a major advance in the field or be likely to influence clinical practice or future research.
    • Late-breaking abstracts are typically reserved for groundbreaking findings. They are not intended to be incremental or confirmatory studies.
  3. Completion of Study
    • The study must be completed, or near the end of completion, at the time the late-breaking abstract is submitted.
    • Preliminary or incomplete studies typically do not qualify and will be declined.
