Dr Oliveira graduated in Medicine in 1995 at Federal Uiversity of Minas Gerais, Brazil, she pursued a Master´s in Surgery- The use of silicone and non-silicone dressings in scars and she completed her Doctoral Degree working with Scars and Burns- Immunohistochemisty, Confocal Microscopy, Clinical research and Lasers.
She is currently a professor at the University (Faculty of Medical Sciences of MG, Brazil) where she has a research group with 30 members among Medical Students, Psychologist and Physicians (dermatologists)
She has also a Dermatology Provate Setting in Brazil primarily focused in keloids and scars.
