Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell
Dr. Bass is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. He has written and lectured extensively over the past 25 years on his research in technology development and advanced surgical techniques including laser procedures. He has served on the Board of Directors of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery as well as several committees. He directed the course "Emerging Technologies in Plastic Surgery" at NYU to train surgeons in the latest advances for 12 years. He was the plastic surgery director of the symposium “Summit in Aesthetic Medicine” which served as a multidisciplinary forum for researchers, clinicians and industry to explore solutions to both surgical and non-surgical problems. Dr. Bass spent more than 15 years as Director of the Minimally Invasive Plastic Surgery Program at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, NYU Medical Center where he was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
