Jared Kahn, MD is a physician currently completing his dermatology residency at Northwell Health and will be starting fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology and cosmetic dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in August 2026. He is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, where he earned a Bachelor of Science majoring in Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology and minoring in Global Health, Culture & Society. As an undergraduate he was highly involved in campus life serving as co-President for Emory’s chapter of the Foundation of International Medical Relief in Children, which is dedicated to improving pediatric and maternal health programs. He was also a four-year offensive player on the Men’s Club Lacrosse team. Jared pursued his studies in Biomedical Sciences at the Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) in Boston earning his MS, completing his thesis in the Department of Dermatology at Tufts Medical Center, examining the pathophysiology of Discoid Lupus Erythematosus and Dermatomyositis. Jared earned his Medical Doctorate in May 2022 from TUSM. He completed his medical internship at Mount Sinai Morningside-West Hospitals in NYC before going on to start his dermatology residency at Northwell Health where he has served as chief resident for his department. His clinical interests include Mohs micrographic surgery and procedural dermatology, with a strong focus on cutaneous oncology, reconstructive techniques, laser-based treatments, and cosmetic dermatology. He is currently performing CO2 laser excisions for complex HS cases and studying outcomes prospectively with his mentor, Dr. Amit Garg. On his free time, Jared enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, traveling, cooking and staying active with high-intensity interval training, weight-lifting, running, skiing, tennis and padel.
